Agree he just has that body shape, like poor Wade who we used to call out for being a little soft around the middle, even when his shoulders were plenty firm (right dj?). Latrell would run rings around 99.9% of people worried about his gut.
And I'm certain he works extremely hard at his training - very few would be able to play NRL if they didn't, however also very few couldn't do a tiny bit better if they chose to I would think.

I do think he could be fitter though and agree he should be more consistently involved to be the best he could be.
What comes first I wonder - decides to get fitter and finds he can get more involved or decides to try and force more involvement and his fitness catches up to the task. If he has the fitness to easily consistently get more involved and chooses not too that's arguably worse.

From a fan perspective I'd enjoy seeing him play a little closer to his best week to week and for more of each game. At his best he is devastating.

An important question re Haas.

If he grew a mullet would it make his neck look longer or shorter?

If it was styled at the base like a Jennifer Aniston circa 1990'd it'd look shorter. Something for him to consider
