Please don’t.

We’ve recently sent Bort and Burgess to hills that we’ve rested their souls on because of Chad and Moylan; Lets not put them through another losing battle 🙏🏽😜

Sometimes you just gotta go to your shed and pick up your shovel, throw it in your car and drive to where you have buried the dead...

So Benny Hunt was a Sharks fan aye? Explains why he has tanked his games at St George for so long but now wants out after relising that club doesn't need his help to stink it up

If we want an experienced solid type genuine 7 there is one from up north coming off contract. Bloke has his own VLOG and everything and apparently was a massive Sharks fan growing up too
The Chad return for Premiership 2 is a hell of a narrative

Walsh set to sign a 5 year deal with the donkeys worth 5.5mil
Don’t tell him that thought apparently.
Posting weird things on insta about not having signed anything

Very Jerome Luai two days before it being confirmed he had actually signed something.

He’s really not. From a marketing perspective yes but his form is way to hot and cold. Nowhere near an elite player yet. Maybe in a few years he hits that potential but right now he’s not there.
I strongly disagree. He's making that kind of impact for the broncos now. I don't think he could do it without the supporting cast, but he's definitely worth that money. Outside of Ponga I don't think anyone else can do what he's doing.

He does special things and will only get better. $1.1m in 2yrs will be a bargain.

Interesting listening to Richo on James Graham's podcast. He reckons $1.2m for Luai is worth it in marketing, branding and building a community before Jerome even laces on a boot. Reece Walsh probably the same.

On the footy field Reece Walsh is a riverboat gambler. Has a licence to take risks, makes more errors than any other player in the NRL and also some of the dumbest. In the right structure and situation it works though, because they have the right voices, some dominant middles, and the rest of the team buys in to the idea that working their asses off to make up for his errors is part of their job description.

He would go from meme to Club legend and immortal

More Sharks premierships than anyone else in history

Sending him to the Cows to further develop his game (and hair) was a masterstroke

Should wait until his eye socket heals and he can get twice as much

Sounds like Billy Slater in his first few years to me. Walsh is a gun.

Young Billy wasn't full of errors. He was just a bit one-dimensional. Passing game had to evolve.

Young Benji might be a better comparison. Benji was untouchable with the right guys around him (Prince, Farah, Hodgson and the right forward pack) but bog average when he didn't.

What do you call his early days? The World Cup pass? He was 25 then.
That's one, he had done horrible errors in his earlier days but his brilliance made them ok, much like Walsh.

You're always saying young players take time to develop. 1.1m for Walsh is a great deal, I reckon just about every club in the NRL would pay it for him.

25 isn't "early on" for me, but splitting hairs.

I think Walsh is a good player and he will improve. Just sick of the hype. He can drop it 6 times, give up 3 penalties and miss 5 tackles and then when he scores a try in the 75th minute the commentators will bang on like the other 16 blokes on the Broncos were passengers.

Meh I get the hype, he's electric and does things others can't. Wish we had him.

Yeah he's the type of player you need to win a comp. He can't do it without the platform of the other guys, but they also can't ice it without him.

He'll get that **** out of his game with more time.

Yep, he's 21. Scary to think how good he'll be in a few years.
