Yeah but he is leaving so he can live in Sydney close to parents. If I were NZ I wouldn't let him go just to end up at Canberra.
I know it's not that far but still wouldn't be near his family like he is saying.
Ah OK didn't realise that.

I hope the tigers go for him and get him. AFB is the missing piece of any forward pack really, but if you added him to Papalii, Bateman, Klemmer and Utoikamanu, the Tigers could really create a platform next year.

When was that? I think maybe you've conflated Wade's comments and Fitz's.

In the presser he said they've started to grow up as a footy team and improve some of the things they weren't good at at the start of the year.

Wade said "the core group will get a lot out of that game".

I agree with the sentiment of your post though. Fitz's comments would indicate that he believes things are heading in the right direction.
I may well have. I think the nature of both comments suggests an effort to grow a team, and with that an acceptance it takes time. Broadly I think the tone of Fitz pressers this year was one of acceptance that there is a medium to long term plan in place, as opposed to most coach pressers which talk about a standard and did the players meet it today or not, but built in to that is the idea that the players know the standard, whereas I think Fitz is leading the players toward a standard they haven't ever known.

All of the above is definitely "a vibe".

I don’t think he’d want to move there anyway and I don’t think the Warriors would want to go for him again. He had the chance and he backed out.

None of our other forwards are on enough coin to cover AFB’s wages as far as I know, maybe you can offer two, but again, you’d have to find two of our forwards who’d be willing to uproot their lives at very short notice and move to another country.

This would be an extremely difficult deal for us to do.
Comes down to what they need I guess.
With a couple of key Sharks already over there it's not completely implausible... I feel pretty sure that SJ love Wilton running those Nikora lines off him...

I wouldn’t have thought we could afford to give up an edge, even for AFB.

I guess if Fitz was off Wilton due to defensive woes we could train up someone like Colquhoun or shift Talakai there, but defence was one reason warriors just released Curran.

They have Ford and Niukore (and Sironen) already on edges too so don’t think they’d see it as high need.
Plus what is Wilton’s motivation (unless he knew Fitz was off him)

Our chance might be all over before it’s started

A “Poolroom” vibe, or just an ordinary, everyday, plain vibe?

He wouldn’t want to be coached by flanno ?

What a stupid comment
Love how aggressive Flanno is in the market. Continually looking for ways to improve the squad. Always active.

Painful that he’s landed at the dragons

The ungratefulness irks me, the joy he brought to all of us fans of this currently mid club should never ever be forgotten

Respect and appreciation should be the minimum sharks fans owe him, instead some want to trash him instead of being proud for him. Who cares where he coaches, he will always be a shark the same way Ennis, Fifita and Lewis etc will always be and they all will tell you that.

Sht fans
