I wouldn't say Curran is a similar style player to Jack Williams.

Closest comparison imo would be Nathan Brown (when he was good). He has a really good short passing game and imo would be a great fit for Fitz-ball. He's good enough to start in 13 at a handful of other clubs - but since he has Harris in the team, Webster doesn't use Curran the same way Brown did.

It's also not a universally held opinion on the forum that we need an enforcer prop.

Put Curran on your bench, take 5-7 minutes off five other blokes, and it will give everyone else more energy to look angrier and make the forum happy.

That said, I assume he is looking to move on so he can play a bigger role - not the same one he has now.

Cory waa one of the best two Qld junior players I ever watched (Flegler was the other).

Sadly the writing was on the wall for him. Clearly Kevie is not a fan. Such a shame Seibold shoehorned him in to hooker so early. If they’d given him more time in the halves things could have gone so differently. At the time it just seemed like “Dearden is better so find yourself a new spot”.

Needs a change of scenery. I hope he finds success. Was never really suited for hooker imo. His service was pretty ordinary and it took away his best asset (taking the ball on the ad line with support and making the defence ask questions).

He’s a tough kid, and quick for a hooker. Could end up as a hooker/lock utility like Lawton.

As for Tigers I would say they are insane offering Best 800k then I remember it's the Tigers. Do those knobs even have a plan or it's just throw money out and see what sticks.

Your judgement on Flegler is excellent. He is a beast and just coming to his best years. Bennett is a good judge.
