Interesting to see the other teams.

We’re the only ones who have basically finalised our list prior to halfway of the season 😂

Usually towards the end of the year there’s always a few players who request to leave. Was hoping we’d be one of the clubs in the race when this happens. Flanno use to be the master of this.
Unfortunately with two spots we can only sign a couple of want-aways, not a few

Politis imo would have had something in place you’d think for maybe fitz’s first year or two. Anything after that, if Fitz agreed to would be ****ing retarded.
Which is why I think Fitz agreed 🤣🤣

Always plenty to play out over the off-season. I wouldn't be worried about how many spots we do or don't have at this stage.

Still would look at Bullemor or Waddell if you could get 1 of them at a good price on a 2 yr deal. Both can play/cover middle and edge. If you could bring back their early career form in a better environment and playing squad theyll go good for us. Would also look at Josh Curran if Warriors needed to squeeze players for space

Ideally biggest coup we might be able to afford at the moment would be to get Lindsay Smith for 2024 onwards and make him a starter. Then you start him with a big body like Tommy, have Toby off the bench for impact. Next year clean out and let go of some players off contract for 2024 and 2025 to free up space and get a big signing or two for 2025

In your head, rent free
i like bullemor a lot, think he would be a smart addition to the squad, issue is, money and what we need

right now, we have so many middles, not all that are good, and not a lot of edge depth

Are we after anyone for 2024 ? Or anyone leaving

Embarrassing that we’re not.
Might be sat on the fence regarding how much $ we have available.
Some opens up if Moylan leaves but given Dykes injury we might be reluctant to let him go before watching Trindall in first grade and Dykes in rehab a bit longer.

Not a huge amount available either - Thompson would clearly improve us but probably out of price range and also with a massive * (played 30 off bench in cup on weekend)
Greig looked good this season - do we want to sign the Eels 3rd best prop again?
Bullemor - was slow to get going at Manly, looking decent again now, but does he really improve us that much to make him his highest offer? Rather just play JC and TH more.

Handful of others who could be interesting but not sure (at least without Moylan going) we can afford to be their best offer.
Cartwright for example.

Who we target in November for year after might be the more realistic question.
BHU, Williams, Tracey, Taukamo, Kaufusi (MO), THT, JC, Rudolf, Dykes & Moylan all off contract after 2024 and Dale's wage gets slashed so def could target some big moves, especially at middle.

MoFo, Haas, J Siafiti, Wallace, L Smith, TPJ, Blore, A Crichton, Ford, KK, Piakura, Su'a, Whitehead, H Young, N Butcher, Curran, JDB, M King and many more available.

Get MoFo, let BHU, Williams and Rudolf duke it out for one contract?
