Yeah OG klem would rip and tear like NAS or any harmen prop the forum is after. He's not that player anymore, but that has also helped by limiting his suspensions etc.

He makes good metres and makes his tackles, but my take on him is he somewhat struggles to generate a quick ruck for his side which is so important these days.

Like you said, he's good, but he used to be elite.
he makes 146m a game and has completed 414/417 tackles, made 2 errors and given away 4 penalties

bloke is a ****ing machine
I remember Klem having more damaging runs previously too but then was he playing less minutes, and maybe more of a defensive (and discipline) liability then?

It wouldn't surprise me if for an NRL club he is now more valuable as a big minute high workrate starter than he was as a (I assume) much lower minute more damaging runner. But from a rep perspective they have other good props to choose from too so they'd probably prefer the shaved head OG. From a fan perspective it's hard to look past the big runs from the props and guys who just get through a tonne of work need to be Payne Haas to stand out.

That's just guestimate though, I haven't actually compared his workrate/minutes/discipline/etc to back when he was an Origin rep

No 40/20's though? Lame.

His minutes are down a bit this year. Maybe 10 minutes per game or so. Still quality, but his work-rate would be below where the Sharks props are. That's a style-of-play thing and by design imho (we were talking about a while ago when comparing the Sharks middles to the high-minute guys).

Fitz just doesn't play with high-minute North-South guys like Woodsy or Petero. If he had a Klemmer or a Haas in his team, I reckon Fitz would cap his minutes and up his work rate anyway.

I can't speak for burgo, but I would assume it would just be looking at metres/tackles per minute.

At a very simple example, on the weekend each of McInnes, Williams, Hazleton and Colquhoun were going at a higher rate, but all played less minutes aside from McInnes.

Yep. Klemmer is a prototypical North-South prop. Sharks middles all make tackles at a much higher rate than that style of player.

I mean current Klem vs Skinhead Klem, not anything to with how he plays/works vs our guys

Surprised the Tigers didn't hire their entire premiership winning team to coach the current team.

They could each concentrate on the player playing in their former position.

Knowing the tigers, they would have outside backs coaching the middles, and middles coaching the halves, all part of Benji's new reverse phycology plan.

Tigers need a couple of effort players/experience and solid contributors in their backline.

If I were them I’d be all over Connor Tracey. He’s too good to be playing nsw cup every week. Also would sign Parker from Manly. Nothing special but will do a job for them in the centres.

Would take Blore or Pole off their hands for him.

Would take Klemmer but that’s about it.

Your not getting Klemmer for Tracey which was my reasoning for those picks.

Pole is only 21 and averaging 90m and is strong defensively, goingto be a very good player imo.

Blore is a big unit and could be used as both a middle and backrow coverage off the bench. Has more upside than someone like Kaufusi for mine.

Disagree on Blore vs Kaufusi. Firstly OK is a true prop. Blore's not even though he could be used there as you say. There's only a year's difference in age and not only do props take longer to hit their apex Kaufusi is no where near his and I think the more he starts the further he gets. He's already twice the player he was at years beginning. He'll be fine
