Yeah - he's not going to challenge Khan-Pereira or Addo-Carr for league's fastest man, but Teddy is no slouch and it took him all 70m to make up the distance.
Tbf, I think teddy was happy to help round him up rather than take him solo

Some decent losses here for the Donkies

Herbie Farnworth (Dolphins), Thomas Flegler and Keenan Palasia are all joining rival clubs.

I just get the feeling that there is no one out there we can realistically pick up for 2024.

So I have no high expectations for next year, I believe top 4 and the Premiership is out of our reach again. We’ll finish somewhere in the bottom part of the 8 or we could miss it totally.

Not enough talent with what we have or on the market to see us improve in 2024.
I still don't think we know where this team ceiling is. Whilst my gut tells me we need another star, we have so many that are nearing that 100-game mark that could take the next step (I think someone made this point about the forwards the other day). I thought it would be interesting to look at us v some of the better performers and finals performers this year.

I've bolded the most capped and underlined who i'd say the 4 most key players in the side are. The underline is obviously subjective.

I'm not sure how useful this is to anyone, but I found a few things interesting:

- We clearly have the least experienced spine and key players of these sides. Which is demonstrated in big games when we should be looking to those players to get us over the line.
- The only more experienced bench than ours is the Warriors. I don't necessarily think this is an issue, but many other teams are clearly finding some more value here than us.
- Every other team than us had a key/spine player around 200 or more games.
- The Broncos are scary good for how inexperienced they are as a unit. If they can fill the Reynolds whole when he leaves they are a serious long term threat to the comp.
- Our side definitely boasts the most mid-range experienced players, but we already knew this.

Ultimately, I think this side will start to see it's potential over the next two seasons. If we can get a young star or two to come through, and get some luck with injuries, we're every chance of being competitive as they continue to learn and gel.

Keppie joins south’s on a 3 year deal.

Isakko extends with the dolphins.

Kolonamatagi will have offers from south’s, dragons and raiders. Raiders is the highest $$.

Tigers putting a 3 year 800k per year deal for Bradman Best.

Crossland extends with the knights till 2026.

Ezra Mam is set to have multiple offers of up to 900k per season.

This is a fun rumour going around - broncos set to be trying to swap Reynolds for Ben Hunt.

Michael Morgan to join the cowboys as an assistant coach.

Michael McGuire being heavily linked to become the next nsw coach.

Stafford To’a extends with the tigers till 2026.

Josh Curran from the Warriors has been told he can look elsewhere surprisingly. Don’t know whats happened there, he’s been one of their key guys.

If we didn’t have Nikora or Wilton on the books I’d love to have him here. Ah well.

I’d still have him here. His best spot is as a middle imo but can cover an edge. Something we don’t really have besides Jesse C.

Sign him up fitz!

Whose spot does he take?
Likely doesn’t make our 17. But would be great depth and cover for any injuries in the forwards which were likely to have.
He would be ahead of Kaufusi which is a good thing also. Probably be our 18th/19th man so first or second cab off the rank.

I think the warriors are struggling to find a spot for him. He can be a very good impact player but I reckon he's on more coin than they're willing to pay for that role. Just a gut feel though
