Walker looked feeble in a team with a good forward pack and protection from the likes of JWH.

He'd shiver in fright if he was told that it was Kaufusi's job to go hunting anyone who treated him rough.
Could confuse us for the dolphins haha

This from Gun other forum when asked about Walker rumour

I've heard nothing on Halves or backs. Just we are looking for forwards and looking for clubs to take some of our players
Just finished playing golf with a fellow who has contacts within the Sharks ranks. Not a done deal but he reckons a straight swap is brewing between Sam Walker and Trindall.
All I’m taking from this is that Chad doesn’t play golf with the Gun from the other forum

Given the family ties Walker would probably love to play Hynesball.
Happy to play 6 or 7 too with Keary. Perfect fit

Walker vs Trindell
Walker for me is not only the better player currently but also has a higher ceiling.
No brainer in my opinion
Rather us focus on sorting out our forward pack first.

Maybe we could swap Moylan for Walker though instead 😎

we need moylan to go elsewhere to get a forward, swapping him for another half wont help

i also doubt this has merit, trindall would be on significantly less than walker

Tricky has the bigger boot, though we're not really utilising it at the moment.

IMO Walker has the game sense and finesse to help us with our end of sets, particularly in the opposition 20.

Yeah I think it's a load of rubbish tbh.

Need to rid of Hunt, Moylan Tracey, Wade, Kafusi as a start to freeing up cash for 2025.

Fincuane can retire also end of next year. Frees up a bit extra for 2025, 350k.

Bulk of This squad had been together now for 5+ plus and to be fair have they really improved? Couple of players have like Nikora but aside from him everyone is basically fhe same they were when they started. Not good enough.

Well, it's a rumour mill mate. I just posted what I heard, like most of you blokes do.
The bloke I heard it from is in his 60s, he's not swayed by internet rumours, he only tells me what he has heard from people he classes as reliable.

He's a pretty normal bloke, just telling me what he has heard.

They've been together for five years? From the current team, only Katoa and Nikora started more than half the games in 2019.

Most of the back 5 came together in 2020. I'd say they have all improved since then.

They just played round 22. Here is the line-up from round 22, 2019 (that's four years ago).

1. Moylan
2. Feki
3. Xerri
4. Dugan
5. Morris
6. Johnson
7. Townsend
8. Woods
9. Jayden Brailey
10. Prior
11. Nikora
12. Graham
13. Gallen
-
14. Capewell
15. Williams
16. Magoulias
17. Hamlin-Uele

We discussed this a couple of weeks ago. A lot of these players were "in the system" at the same time, but outside of several being parachuted in for the Jets finals series in 2019, no more 2-3 were in any one particular squad coming though. Mostly they were like bananas in pyjamas.

Nikora + Kennedy
Trindall+ Wilton
Katoa + Ramien
Brailey + BHU

Is there any big boppers in ESL killing it that would be an ideal recruit?
Lees and Delaney @ St.Helens are the ones id be chasing. Good young forwards.

Sutton and Thompson from Bulldogs would add much needed steel into the Sharks pack instead of Kafusi, Hunt and Rudolf
