How do you know he'd be a good centre/back up FB if you haven't really seen him play?

Been watching a few highlights lately, has a good try scoring record. Strong runner of the ball so would suit our style of using our centres as props. A broncos buddy of mine played against him and has a high opinion of him too

I always thought Niu could make a decent centre if given the time to persist in the position. I'd take him if he was happy to sign on back up money, but wouldn't fight anyone for him.

Yeah that’s where I could see him securing a start. He’s very athletic and great physicality but often looked like he lacked football smarts and ball playing

Yeah the highlight package was good without being great but the wraps are big - looks to be a left sided half ..

Just watched it. Something I noticed is that he seems to find it hard getting back to his feet after he scores a try.

Yep. Tesi is a Jack Bird type player. Could be a top centre if he accepted playing there, but wants to play fullback. Could succeed there, but he’s not ready to be a full time NRL fullback yet. If he ends up at the Dolphins I certainly wouldn’t pick him ahead of Hammer.

Problem is he shows up on the other team’s highlight reel a lot too. Diamonds and rocks.
