Arnold Palmer, one of golf's most charismatic champions who made millions of dollars by turning his popular "everyman" image into one of the most lucrative sports brands in the world, has died, aged 87.
Palmer, a Pennsylvania greenskeeper's son, died on Sunday at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Centre Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, his long-time assistant Doc Griffin said.
