I love all the well worded replies apparently from Kyrgios on social media, what a crook of **** for starters the dumb fk couldn't spell half the words nor know their meaning or use them in a sentence, and secondly is not emotionally capable of remorse, beware of this clown trying to convince you otherwise, can't wait for him to pull that giving up crap in the Davis cup and all hell will break lose.

Gotta love channel 7's parochial coverage. Djokovic v Verdasco on standard definition whilst they show some unknown Aussie in HD on the main channel.

Bernard Tomic's commitment to tennis is expected to come under the microscope again after the Australian pulled out of his first round match in Acapulco citing "unbearable heat".

Tomic lost the first set to American Donald Young in a tiebreak but looked disinterested and lethargic at stages before withdrawing from the match.

The loss ruled out a potential second round clash in Mexico with compatriot Nick Kyrgios who is playing later on Tuesday (Wednesday AEDT).

Tomic's withdrawal without apparent injury appears more questionable given the temperature in Acapulco was 27 degrees at the time - a far cry from the heat in places like Melbourne Park which can reach into the 40s.

Did anyone have any comments on what Tomic had to say after his first round tanking?

He's copping the rounds of the kitchen at the moment which is fair enough but I was surprised to see some support for him from former tennis star Mats Wilander.

Mats said that Tomic was basically saying what most tennis players feel at some stages of their careers.

Here's the link to that article:

Yeah it's a tricky one mate.

I don't like Tomic but we all want a bit of honesty from sportsmen rather than cliches, so I didn't mind his comments about being a bit bored during the match. Mark Waugh openly admitted he'd often get bored whilst batting which probably explains why his highest Test score was only 153. For a player of his immense talent he should have done better given he played 128 Tests.

To me, the issue isn't Tomic's comment about being bored, it's more when he pulls a heart string during a game and obviously stops trying. He also faked an injury in his last match to call a timeout which was why he copped the fine.

Some of these blokes don't realise how privelleged they are really. I think the best thing for guys like him and Kygrios is to take a year off and live a normal life, working a normal job like the rest of us, and see what's it's like.
