Did Misi actually get a run last week? From memory he was on the interchange bench but I missed the second half so I didn't see him. Did he get on to the field?

Also, whoever updates that Sharks website does not have any attention to detail. For the last two weeks now the teams have been announced as Round 3. We're now up to Round 5 and this hasn't been changed!:rant

Is it just me, maybe I'm being a little pedantic - but sometimes the stories themselves are awash with spelling and grammatical errors and it just doesn't look professional.

Maybe I'm just an old fuddy duddy......

Well fellow fuddy duddy, I constantly point out that the Sharks website isn't of the same standard of some of the other club sites. Even today @ 1pm I asked the question why the ladder wasn't updated with round 4 results, then at 2:30pm it was...

The way I look at it, if the goal is to be a professional football club then let's get professional across the board. :rant

But back to topic, what do you reckon our chances will be against a Souths side that has nothing to lose?

i wouldnt be surprised if we go shown up by a team who wanted it more than us, but saying that i hope ricky has prepared for a tough game, because im sure thats what souths will give us.

PS. spelling and grammar isn't old fashioned, it's an important and essential part of society!

C'mon guys, no one would know we are 3 from 4 and jointly topping the points table the way some of us are talking...I guess that a certain degree of pessimism is a prerequisite for being a Sharks fan, but do we really need the constant negativity? I had been a guest on this site for a while before I became a member, and one of the reasons I signed up was to speak out against the sense of doom and gloom that tends to envelope this place like a dark cloud after every loss (how poetic was that?! :p). Perhaps that mood was understandable at the time I joined - it was during our record run of losses under Stuart Raper - but now we are actually winning games and we are still running ourselves down! On that note, I would like to thank tjb for her (?) overwhelmingly positive contribution to these forums, that kind of enthusiasm and unconditional support has got to be contagious...doesn't it???

...do we really need the constant negativity?

Pessimist - "a person who habitually sees or anticipates the worst or is disposed to be gloomy"
Optimist - "a person disposed to take a favorable view of things"

Sharks Supporter - "externally pessimistic, but on the inside exceedingly optimistic"

I agree with Mega though, Rorters supporters are always saying they're going to win the comp, so a bit of positive Sharks energy might go along way, perhaps more than the magic fingers!;)
