kingston has done way better this year then last, big improvement..i wish sticky would give him some more game time..

i completely agree(darr) but i do wish he got more game time. hes been playing really well lately and it would be great to see him get more game time. he will make more tackles(relieving pressure off some other people) and he will pick his chances to run when the defence looks tired or no marker etc like he did last night. especially when he took that 20-30 metre run which set up kimmorley for that field goal

and he must be doing something right for peachy to say hes going good. but it would take a miricle for teflon to say kingston is going good. yes de gois is better then kingston when he is at his best....but de gois isnt at his best is he! so just back off him for a bit

someone said andersons out for 6 weeks

yeh, it looked like a dislocation which would have seen him out for atleast 6 weeks, but unbelieveably it was just a knock which would see him back next week

The team I'd like to see running around in 4-6 weeks looks like this, but I don't think that all of these changes should be made at once.

Kingston has been used at back row a little bit lately; I'd like to see that more often. Kingston is mainly there for his defense, so I'd have him out there for the end of each half to add some enthusiasm when everyone else is getting tired.

IMO Green needs to be there both to improve as a player and to know everyone's game. If Seymour or Noddy are hurt he will be playing in the halves so it's better if he comes from the 17 in to that role than from the Cobras. In the mean time, Green would be a better guy than Kingston to have working around the ruck trying to exploit tired forwards.

Filiga is on a heavy incentive-based contract, so while he's playing NYC or Cobras, he's actually costing very little.

Stapleton would be kicking for this team (with Seymour, Green and Bird as options)

1. Kearney
2. Stapleton
3. Pomeroy
4. Filiga
5. Simmons
6. Seymour
7. Kimmorley
8. Ross
9. De Gois
10. Douglas
11. Gallen
12. Anderson
13. Bird

14. Nutley/Peek/Norrie/Snowden/Selmes
15. Nutley/Peek/Norrie/Snowden/Selmes
16. Kingston (back row)
17. Green

apparently he has been very dangerous for the nsw cup side. wouldnt be suprised to see him on the wing for covell this week

Yes, he was certainly the most dangerous back for the Cobras last weekend; he played fullback and made plenty of metres out of dummy half.
