Kiwi fullback Dave Watson only played with Cronulla for about half a season, but he made a massive impact even in that short time. He brought a new level of excitement to Saturday nights at Shark Park, with thrilling (crazy!) passes to his wingers while on his own try line.
I've always thought he was a major contributor to the style of Cronulla's backline in the mid to late 90s, with his skills, confidence and interaction with his wingers rubbing off on Peachey, Barnett and Rogers.
