"One of rugby league's rarest photographs. Steve Rogers, one of Australia's greatest Test centres, feeds a scrum against Canterbury. The result - a penalty to Canterbury. But it was hooker Rowland Beckett who was pinched for 'feet across.' The situation came about when Perry Haddock was warned he'd be sin-binned for one more scrum infringement, and then five-eighth Mark Wakefield was injured. Rogers had previously played half-back as a replacement on the 1973 Kangaroo tour, against St Helens." - RLW
