What has Mat Rogers done? Stevens? Long? McKenna? ET is just a bloke like all other previous players. He doesnt have to be at the field every game, he doesnt have to sponsor them club with his hard earned. Its not the job of ex players to sort out board room issues at the club.

What benefit would ET be if he was out coaching the backs? Probably not a lot. the game has changed alot in the long time he has been retired. Just because you dont see his face on the tv or out there with a microphone on game day doesnt say he isnt around.

Just tell me , what has he DONE ?
If he had the heart of say a Como , Sutho , Gymea ,Cronulla Caringbah junior , he'd be down to EARTH and as the Clubs greatest player ever , he'd STEP up and be an ASSIST his club .
Don't give a rats about the other players . Beau Ryan has done more fore for this club in 2 years than ET ever even considered to do.
AGAIN , What has he DONE ? Apart from green lighting Noyce's departure ?

No ones said they expect et to give the club his hard earned cash. I'm just saying i'd love for the club to engage with the ex players a bit more.
Remember when Buzz did an article on another former legend, Greg Pierce and how he sent a resume in outlining his credentials for a CEO. He was quoted saying he never got a return call.
Maybe ET thinks now, is the right time to be vocal. He seemed to say all the right things in the previous article.

very ****in anti-de la arent we. both my uncles were de la boys. 1 was best mates with Mitch Healey the other ET, they all played footy together before life took them in differnt directions. Im not gunna sit here and back anyone as obviously the De La thing is a sore point for a lot of people. But to say ET doesnt do enough for the club because he was a De La boy is a cop out.

Yeah, the "Feeding Time" advertising campaign was put together by GPY&R (http://www.gpyr.com.au/) ... trust me they don't come cheap - and I doubt that the bill for travel, accoms and per diems for Raper, Ettingshausen, crew... et al wasn't paid for by the Sharks.

Raper and Keogh both play in a party / covers band with called Shake 'n' Bake... pity that the only thing on the menu in 2014 was Shakin' Flake with Chips on their shoulders.

That's the problem with campaigns like "Born With It" and "Feeding Time" when the team end up wooden-spooners,

"Born With It" and "Feeding Time" take on a whole different meaning.

Thanks Fitz .
I know 100% , I would have contributed for zero for the love of the Club .
I bet 99% of this forum would have too.
WHY ? No nead to answer this if your HEART is in the right place .
Then again maybe I couldn't be bothered in making the time from my 9 to 5 job without compensation.
Rant over .

ET stayed as a one club man despite frequent, massive offers from other clubs - De La Salle juniors aren't evil ffs

Well sorry .
But what true Aussie would put money ahead of supporting the club that he played for and supposively loves ?
Hense yuppie materialistic de la wanker .
Can someone please let us know if ET has given anything to the Sharks unless $$$ were involved .
I did revere this man . BUT where is his heart and contribution to the club I love ?
Fair call ?

I've said this here before and it was dismissed. But ET met with Sharp last year and offered to come down and coach the backs. Sharp never got back to him. That is fact.

I believe the same offer was extended to Flanno prior to his suspension too.

read the news articles i posted mate. They go into him being approached and wanting to be a defensive coach for the club years back etc. Just because you dont see him doesnt mean he isnt there
