Man, I should put money on this stuff. I can't believe how predictable Origin is.

Here is my prediction for Game 2 - get on it.
NSW will ring in the changes. Gallen to come in to toughen up a forward pack that didn't look like it could dent fairy floss.

Hayne to fullback, Gidley is useless there, on the bench for him. Jamie Lyon will go to centre, what was he doing at 5/8?

Cooper was about as useful as I thought he would be, which is to say, not at all.

Oh by the way, don't worry Blues fans; NSW will win the next game when they play their "proper" team and then wrap up the series at home. Maximum TV ratings assured.

Seriously, professional wrestling is looking more and more believable.:bulgy-eyes:

Only Vince McMahon would write the script for a Blues win and they'd still find a way to screw it up!

Why are you guys dropping Noddy?

Everyone (except the selectors) know he can't carry a team by himself. He needs to be the boss of the forwards only and be partnered with a a traditional 5/8 that can be the boss of the backs.

He was left stranded out there last night by a horrible pack, no 5/8, and a horrible game plan from Bellamy.

I find it amusing that even people on a fan forum, who aren't paid for their opinion can pick a better team and give more accurate player evaluations than the professional selectors of the NSWRL!

Surely, the team last night was picked to lose!?! Why would you play so many of the games best players out of position? Why would you not pick the Australian lock and the lead backrower in the NRL? Why would you pick a centre combination that looked about as dangerous as a butter knife?

Why would you pick BEN CREAGH??!!

Personally, I think the Peach has named a pretty spot on team, but I'm not sure about the bench. Bird, for sure. Not sold on TLL and Mason though.

I would love to see Carney and Pearce in the halves, although I'm happy with Barrett being there too.

Don't worry, there will be big changes for game 2.

perry - gone - probably not
creagh - gone - probably not
cooper - gone - maybe
white - gone - probably not
gidley - gone -definitely not

Only changes I expect are Gallen in (but then I never expected him to miss out) and probably something forcing Lyon to centre and bring in a 5/8, quite possibly Barrett, so, bad news for us

Nah, you've got to have Lewis, at least on the bench. Waterhouse is borderline. Bird is mandatory.

The backrow you have picked would destroy QLD's fowards - even Victorians can pick better teams than the NSW selectors!

7 Kimmorley/Pearce
8 Bailey
9 Ennis

14 Snowden
15 Lewis

17 Gidley

Or same side sept drop Barrett and Gidley. Put Bird to 5/8 Lewis to lock. Carney in Gidley's spot and Hindmarsh to the empty bench spot. When Carney comes on Bird goes to lock.

I'd love to see:

11. Watmough
12. Gallen
13. Bird

It would be the crankiest hard working back row :take that

I would bring in Gallen, Snowden, Pierce, Bird.

Out goes Cooper, Idris, Perry and Waterhouse.

I don't like to see this many changes normally, but flat out they picked the wrong team to start with!
