agree, the bench is terrible, that will make it near impossible to win w/ that bench, I bet there is 4.5 million Qldr's that are doing backflips w/ the selection of Ben Creagh.

you are not wrong here Bundy. Ever since the origin where Creagh pushed Hodges like a girl and then back peddled faster than he carries the ball up QLDERS have loved seeing Creagh in the team. If he had done such a hit and run like that in a QLD jersey a line would have been marked through his name then and there. Creagh is without doubt the most overrated second rower in the game. I have no idea why NSW continue to pick him. He is not an origin player.

Tariq Sims should have been in the side for sure. I actually dont mind the other forward selecitons but Greg Bird was probably lucky. Your centers are average at best. I almost think Poms could have got a run!

However in saying that QLD will have a big solid pack and Civoniceva is being retained through loyalty not form, he's barely played more than 20 mins a game this year. Carney and Pearce are the right halves selections and Farah might just have a go after the bagging he's had this year. You've got a mobile forward pack and really Carney will make any centre look good the way he's going this year so i think it will be alot closer than some QLDers are thinking.

That is still a worse team than what rubbish the selectors actually picked...

Only changes I'd make are Watmough for Creagh and Hinchcliffe for Buhrer. I'd say NSW picked a pretty darn good side compared to what they've thrown out in the past.

The only real shocking decision is buhrer.

The rest of the squad will do a job, the out of form backs will lift and even creagh on the bench isn't the end of the world. Surprisingly he goes fairly well at prop running at the gap between the markers and the A defender using his speed.

Oh and merrin, that is a load of ****. He is and average first grader, how he is even mentioned for origin is absolutely beyond me. It should of been mannah!

i think the blues got a big chance this year, lockyer with be a big loss. sure they now got cronk but he is not as good as lockyer and carney big improvement on soward.
the teams were close last year and i think the blues team is better than last year and the loss of lockyer has to affect qld

I have to laugh at all of the comments on the telegraph with people being pissed off about stuart not sticking with the same team. Do they really think soward is any where near todd's class?

With Cronk as a direct replacement they wont lose to much in attack at all but I wouldnt under estimate the composure or calmness Lockyer brought to any side he played in.

Todd Carney is better then the whole QLD team combined.

As long as that **** wit Farah does his job and hands the ball off to him and Mitch, we will be fine.

But if Farah trys and plays first receiver and takes half the kicking options.... we are ****ed royally
