I'd like to see Kearney at 5/8 and I think it's bullsh!t that he's too small or would do too much tackling there. However I'd settle for my 2nd choice a Barrett/Seymour combo if it works.

In 2006 when Noddy & Dykes were both injured for extended periods of time, kearney played mostly 5/8 but also a few games at half and we had a win loss ratio of approx 85/90%. No coincidence also that most of the tries during that period were scored by the backs receiving good clean early ball from a player who knew what to do with the ball.

kearneys definately versatile, i think hes better at the back because hed be a weakness in defence in the halves and as soon as a forward pokes his nose thru a hole i want him there to scoop it up, and not busy sorting out the backline
