Sorry about all the spam

Sorry everyone about all the rubbish that has been posted lately, I've just been way too busy, and hadn't realised what was going on.

At the moment, I'm still deciding whether to keep the site going. I do want to keep it going (if only in the form of a forum as there are a lot of out of date stats), and I'm definitely aiming that way, because I know there are a lot of great people out there using it. However I don't want it to be a liability.

In the meantime I have made it so that new members have to be approved, and added in some other restrictions that will stop spambots. I have also deleted a whole batch of zero-post accounts that looked like spammers, sorry if anyone has been accidentally deleted. Basically, in the next week I'll be doing all I can to stop the spam, and then we'll see how it goes.

Anyone who would like to be a moderator, please reply here, send me a PM or email.

This site must be kept going at all costs, it is THE best place to hang out on the entire world wide web. I am not much of a computer nerd but I guess I'll put my hand up to be a moderator or whatever if that's what it takes to keep the spammers at bay. I wouldn't say I'm on here 24/7 but I stop by fairly regularly so I don't mind keeping an eye on things if you want to let me know what has to be done.

Thanks to shireboy, KELPIE and Megashark for taking up the roles, and also to the others that offered. I should also say that all of them did it out of selflessness and good will, so please don't give them any grief, as some like to do to moderators!

It is much appreciated, as are all the posts in this thread, and I think will give a great boost to get the site back on track!

being from dubbo in the central west of nsw, i dont get to see any games,apart from those on tv, so i dont know much about the players that are running around in the lower grades. its good for me to talk to other sharks fans, as i can find out how our future first graders are going. also , i dont know any sharks fans myself, so its great to share my opinions with others, and not cop **** from who im talking to. this site has kept me keen on league for the off season so far, so it has to survive.
