This is truely sad. Sad he appears to have lost his promising life and Sad his family and friends may struggle with closure if hs remains are not recovered.

We all go through tragedies in our lives at some point and must learn to move on. I lost the woman I loved, my best friend, my most treasured possession about twenty years ago. I was sad and lost for about years and then I realised I had to move on and get on with my life or I would waste the time I had.

The sadest part of all was that losing her was like a supernaural event and one I have never understood.

My thoughts and best wishes are with this young mans family and friends

Don't get to carried away Forza. She was a wonderful girl, but it seemed that after I married her a polegiest managed to possess her gradually over a number of years and turned her into a bitter sour old bitch, so i diviorced it. I miss the girl I had before the possession

Closure for Fai family

A New Zealand coroner's verdict that Sonny Fai drowned while trying to save his 13-year-old brother in dangerous surf is expected to pave the way for a $630,000 NRL insurance payout to the family. Chief coroner Judge Neil MacLean found that Fai, a promising back-rower for the Warriors, drowned at Auckland's Bethells Beach on January 4. He disappeared into the surf after going to the rescue of his brother, Gillespie, who was caught in a rip. His body has not been found. Judge MacLean said it was a myth that a death certificate for a missing person could not be issued until after seven years. ''Sonny Fai died when he succumbed to the surf conditions and drowned, despite extensive and intensive efforts of recovery,'' he said at an inquest in Auckland Coroner's Court. ''Sonny Fai was a fit young man in the prime of his life who got into difficulty in the surf. He was a strong man but he was not a strong swimmer.'' After the verdict, Fai's sister, Lalelei, spoke on behalf of her mother Tausili and father Falelua, and the rest of her extended family, who were all at court. ''It's closure for our family. This is the next step for us to move forward,'' she said. ''Sonny won't be forgotten in our hearts but having my whole family here makes us know we've got the support and the strength to pull through this, and I know that's what Sonny would have wanted.''
