With Tieg and Nikora our long term backrowers and Talakai not a long term centre off the bench is his likely position, atleast for us so keen to how he goes. He does offer some versatility which is good. I can't see JC playing a full game

kids got a monster of a motor on him but agreed, it looks like thats where sifa will go

i only hope that if JC is having a great game we dont sub him for the sake of it

Makes sense. Or if Tracey or Ramien are playing **** we can cover them also with Talakai.

The idea of Sifa hitting that Wilton suicide line is pretty arousing.
Does JC run lines? I don't know much about his playing style.

What happened with Talakai?

Started as a 2nd row and was quality….was pushed to centre as no valid options and when he succeeded shifts permenantly…

Might not be great defensively at centre (albeit trying to cover Moylan continuously no doubt) but surely quite quick and agile in comparison to 2nd rowers?(and not centres)

Start him at second row, JC bench. Rather JC in the middle, him and Tommy play more direct and they go good defensively. JC can also go to the edge if sifa gets gassed

Hard to believe Sifa was dropped after being named on the bench for todays game and doing a good job at centre for a while now (bar his defense) and then to see a rookie in JC get big minutes in the second row.

Maybe the coaching staff didn't get the reaction in attitude they were looking for when they moved him to bench and decided to sit him out entirely. Maybe they just thought they needed the extra size on the bench.

Honestly, who knows.

This is what i thought. Maybe he plodded along at training rather than doing the extras and showed he was a sook about neing dropped
