Worst thing for him was dropping the ball in a one on one tackle (admittedly a well placed tackle)

Smart of raiders to target the short guy facing up into sun… bigger **** up in that set was McInnes and Dale letting Rapana make big meters from marker and even let raiders have position for that kick

Tracey did next to nothing to help poor Sione , at least Ramien would put more pressure on the attackers (mixed results lol) or give Katoa a bit of escort or high ball cover/assistance from the runners/jumpers but we had 2 short blokes stuck out on that edge looking into the sun

Not saying Katoa is blameless or shouldn't take responsibility for his mistakes but he didn't have much support and other factors made his job harder than it usually would be

Katoa has been rock solid a while now so willing to cut him a bit of slack but the fumbles have been creeping back into his game this season so needs to sort it sooner rather than later

Yep, Sione had a shocker,

as mentioned above, we let them eat up metres & charge down field, ala, 2020 & 2021 seasons,

prior to that, we had defenders lacking discipline in jumping early & giving them a leg up penalty out of there red zone.

The ball Sione spilt, watch the non existent kick pressure on Frawley.

We had the wrong game plan,

Trindall as 7, Nicho at the back, regardless of all that, atleast want it & have a crack.

Yep poor game, but where was the urgency from our team to give him some protection when he was getting bombed.…
Nikora stood there and watched it
he will bounce back

Also no one was helping him under the high ball. Jessie normally gets back and stifles some defenders.

Is Tracey a centre ?

Whether he is or not does not invalidate my point. Katoa and Ramien seem to have a certain chemistry just like Ronaldo and Talakai (you can add Wilton to that). Katoa does not seem to have this chemistry with Tracey. This does not mean Tracey is a bad player.

Kennedy and Ramien out seems to have done more damage to our game than we first realized.

Not from one game together whether we just played like garbage, no

OK, got that wrong. Thanks @HaroldBishop.

2 more weeks. Against the Titans and the Roosters. We should be able to tell by then. I still think we will miss Ramien’s powerful runs.
We definitely miss him, don’t think Tracey filling in for Ramien is gunna be our biggest issue those games.

If it is then likely we’re right in it

I did not mean that to be our biggest issue at all. Just that it contributed to the whole disharmony of the team tonight. Then again, nothing was firing tonight and “that” is the real issue that Fitzy needs to solve,
