I hear fauumina has been sacked by the warriors for a drinking incident...

i think if we can forget that and try offer him a fresh start he would be an awsome pick up for us

he has size skill etc for the back row or 5/8th which could provide the variety for us apart from 2 sideline to slideline running halves.

what do you think about us trying to sign him up?

i guess in the end he will head off to the UK

what? are we a home for anyone with drinking, violence or life issues now?
i know he's a good player but he will go to england and follow the dollars (pounds).
i'm still a little surprised that we picked up seymour after the head-butting incident when we were so quick to boot Latu (a move i regrettably agree with).
word is he (seymour) only got let off because it was in brisbane and hence the daily tele didn't jump all over it.
we don't want to be seen as the second chance outfit for criminals

Guys remember these fellas are young and we all make mistakes. Not only that we are judging them via the media circus!! The club also has a responsibility in all of this. If regular alcohol and drug testing is performed then the club may react at the signs of early problems dont you think?

Have we actually signed Seymour??

Everyone deserves a second chance and as per Latu's case, there are always more to the story.

We need some toughness in the club though.

Seymour is yet to sign with us, they have offered him.

We need a new coach first, otherwise no-one will want to come to us anyway.

Sorry but I disagree, the last thing we need is a player with a drinking problem. Sure, he is a good player but the Warriors gave this guy umpteen chances to repay their faith in him and he blew it. Do you know why he was sacked? On his last chance after getting drunk and yelling abuse at Guttenbeil's testimonial lunch, under the influence again he starts abusing the fans after the Roosters game on sunday. Apparently a lovely guy when he's sober, but not the kind of bloke you want setting foot inside Northies, OK?

I agree with you guys saying we don't need off-field trouble makers, but, at the same time, can the club pass opportunities to recruit talented players ?

We need players with an attitude (a winning one that is). I reckon I don't know if Famuina is the right person.

However, I really like him as a player (although his offload selection is sometimes appalling) and, assuming we sign him, having a 5/8 able to play like a running forward, outside a talented halfback (Kimmorley;) ), could be an answer to our problems.

I can guarantee you they do not have the money to sign him.

They are offering Seymour their last bit of money.

Salary cap mate, they are not even offering Seymour much.

If Seymour is signed he will be the 25th player.

maybe fancy has a point.
i dunno, i doubt we've got the cash too but i spose with some conditions on his off field behaviour he would be an asset to any club.

Latu was a massive loss for the Sharks, MASSIVE. It is very hard to replace that speed out of dummy half. Latu wa sthe perfect replacement for Sullivan, since we lost Latu Sharks have been sh**. Latu paid his penalty and should be resigned.
