Hey guys just read this

Former Shark Beau Scott makes his return from an ankle injury to face his old club.

For Cronulla, winger-fullback David Simmons (hamstring) ran freely for the last few training sessions and could be a surprise starter.

That could mean shifting Misi Taulapapa to the centres to allow Reece Williams to move back to the second row.

While the Dragons have suffered recently losing Wes Naiqama (knee), Dean Young (knee), Ben Hornby (calf), Brett Morris (shoulder), Ashton Sims (knee) and Mathew Head (shoulder), the Sharks are without fullback Brett Kearney (quadriceps), second-rower Lance Thompson (knee) and prop Ben Ross (virus) in addition to Brett Kimmorley and Greg Bird (Origin).

Welcome to Emu Plains, please be sure to visit our
least williams will be bumped out of the centres

Sharks five-eighth Anthony Watts revealed yesterday how a mid-season phone call from Sharks assistant coach Jim Dymock fast-tracked his dream of playing in the NRL.

"I was playing Premier League at the Roosters," Watts said.

"I'm a halfback or five-eighth but I was playing on the wing with a lot in front of me.

"Jimmy called up a few weeks back and said there was an opportunity at the Sharks if I wanted it. I jumped at it.

"I still can't believe I am going to being playing first grade."

In a strange twist, Watts will be playing against former Sydney Roosters teammate Jamie Soward, who also changed clubs mid-year.

and guess who is back in first grade

MOTORMOUTH! - cocky carnt

'Motormouth' gets his chance

ST George-Illawarra maverick Richie Williams has vowed on the eve of his return to the top grade to let his football do the talking in an attempt to resurrect his career.Williams has been rushed back for the match against the Sharks at OKI Jubilee Stadium tonight after five-eighth Rangi Chase was ruled out with injury yesterday.

Speaking for the first time since being dumped for trash-talking Braith Anasta six weeks ago, the controversial five-eighth said last night that he wanted to play on at the Dragons despite reports he was set to be cut adrift.

"I want to stay at the Dragons but I don't know what I am doing yet," Williams said. "It's been a tough time but I just want to play footy."

Williams declared Anasta was "not as good as he used to be" and the Roosters deserved wooden spoon favouritism.Williams admitted yesterday that he was "shattered" in the days after his axing, but said he was always confident of returning to the top grade.

"I just went back down and tried to play good football," Williams said."I didn't drop my head or anything; I just tried to play my best.

"The first couple of weeks were really hard but, after I got a couple of games under my belt, I got my confidence back. I was disappointed but I moved on."

With the Dragons yet to exercise an option to keep Williams next year, the 20year old may be forced to hit the open market. At least two rival clubs are understood to have expressed interest in the rookie.

But Williams is not looking past tonight's derby against the Sharks following a tumultuous six weeks in purgatory.

"I am ready to go," Williams said."It feels great to finally get back up there. I just want to play some good footy." Williams will square off tonight against another rookie playmaker looking to impress on debut.

I'd say it would be other way around. Simmo to centre with Misi staying at the back.

That's blatantly impossible. Really. Simmo is not a centre in any sense.

It should be Covell to centres, but it won't happen if Stick hasn't planned it. I'd say Simmo will take to FB if he plays.

yer as Pomeroy#3 says, In Sticky I Trust.
if ando learns to catch ill be happy to have him back in 1st. but only then.
i swear raper just bought as many off contract backs as we could afford at end of last season. misi, anderson, stephenson, hannay, cooper (probably forgetting someone). and at that stage we still had pomz, covell, kearney, simmo, albert, brown, and williams (for desperate measures only)

i remember after one game the sharks back 3 (which involved misi) had made a new NRL record amount of meters or something for back 3. it was also like 1/3 again on the next best so far this season
