Wouldnt be that bad for the club, has been good in that lock role and can ball play in the middle, brings impact and plays with intensity, wish more of our middles did that
maybe intensity is something the coach doesn’t mention nor care about..

You would think 3 years in it would’ve appeared by now

I'm glad our middles don't behave like him off the field. Grub.
True, but they can atleast fire up and play with more intensity and aggression on the field, only have Hunt and Talakai that do that, sometimes Williams

Agree with Tuks, would love to see him get more top grade games and build him up, but he'll be stuck behind the seniors
Tbh I'd prefer to see him given more games (when fit) ahead of Nut. He was playing good minutes in the Jets before he got injured, would like to see him get more time in NRL.

Shouldn’t be an issue, bloke never finishes a contract

Must be getting Matto pretty cheap if we get him but don’t keep Williams
Would be 2 in / 2 out.

Finucane out, Colquhoun out for 2025

AFB in / Matto in

Imo the current number of middles is the correct amount. Next man up in round 4 was Blake Hosking.

Yeah man, he's earned a spot on the bench this year, good performances in cup and top grade when he's got his chances, been consistent.

When will he back?

I agree with this, I just wonder if we've got a little too much cash in the depth guys. Also Colquhoun should be back at some point next year.

In that situation (assuming Williams re-signs), for a maximum of 7 top team spots we have - AFB, McInnes, BHU, Rudolf, Hunt, Talakai, Williams, Hazleton, Kaufusi, Tuks, Colquhoun. That's already 4 NRL quality players missing out if we are fully fit, becomes 5 if you were to sign Matto.

Tuks, Hazleton and Tommy are on the cheaper end for next year at least so that's not so bad, but if you sign Matto you could be benching 800k-1m assuming everyone's fit. I think it would be fine if that 4th/5th option was a Billy Burns style player to save cash for elsewhere.

I like him. Think he's got a higher ceiling than most of our current forwards in terms of talent, ability etc.. If Williams does go elsewhere then i would love for us to sign him up!

Well if its a choice, id sign Guymer - younger, and something different plus will probably cost less
