Maybe but it doesn't make it right. They're not just using rabbits either. I suspect the greyhound industry is about to undergo an overhaul.

I don't think it's justified either HB. I was just surprised that people didn't know about it.

I find it amazing that top trainers don't have the facilities necessary to need live animals. I would have thought this is the kind of things amateurs did.

correct, it gets the dog itching for the taste of blood so that when its in a race it runs harder thinking it is actually chasing a real rabbit

Do they still have the Kempsey dogs mate or am I getting it confused with another town?

The guy two doors up from mum and dads has been training them all his life, even more so now since his wife passed away

Ahh right, so do they have bookies on course? Wouldn't be any point going I suppose if you couldn't have a bet. Good fun at the dishlickers, used to go every now and then at Wenty Park, haven't been for a long time now though.

never been tbh mate but I dare say they would have at least one bookie there

I wonder if this works for horse racing too, might buy a cheap nag from out the back of the glue factory and give it a go
