I think key injuries are the other thing that could throw a curve ball at us. We have depth in the forwards especially, but wouldn't want a season ending injury to Nicho or Kennedy for example

Our depth is fairly good. Trindall and Metcalf are solid players for cover (obviously never want a star player injured regardless) Metcalf and Lachi Miller are killing it in NSW cup. It is the best depth we have had for years.

Injuries are definitely massive for any club. Take 2016 as an example where we used probably the fewest players for the season in probably the last decade or so.

Imagine if Maloney, Barba or Ennis were out injured in the finals. Would have been different result.

Depth should help get a good team to the finals. From there we need all hands on deck.

Never played rugby, however, as in any other sport, the more you take care of your body nd the better your technique then the less likelihood of an injury. What we hear from the interviews as to how the players are getting more professional and learning a lot from Finucane, Fitzy, McInnes, etc. might help with that massively.

Other than that, we just need a bit of luck on the ruck.
