I thought we played well in the second half. The first half there were far to many errors. Norrie, Kimmorley, Kearney, De Gois and See u were good for us tonight.

How good was Seu Seu's shot on David Stagg tonight? Hit of the season!

Apart from that, not a lot to write home about, but pleased to get the points in difficult conditions, and good to see Noddy and Sticky sharing a laugh after the game, despite the supposed bad blood between the two.

I'll take the win as well but to not do better against a side missing so many players was disappointing. Maybe we miss Gallen and Bird a fair bit as well but we should have won by more than that.

Kimmorley's drop goal attempts always look so good but they seem to just miss. Thank god he finally got that last one though.

The media and our friend Gus aren't going to be too complimentary in the paper tomorrow morning. I can almost write Gus' verdict for him. "Ugly win, too many errors, not enough thought in attack and lucky to get away with it. Broncos gallant in defeat, took it up to the Sharks, always looked dangerous in attack, unlucky not to come away with a win." Let's see what happens.

yep gutsy ugly win..

before i get to the football...the crowd at the backend of the game..i pissed the commentators off on active and put the audio on the crowd!..all it was, the announcer and the crowd chanting..SHARKIES!...then kept it on the crowd with TV up load..singing up up cronulla..GREAT FEELING

football now..heart attack stuff..lucky our defense is top class..even though it was raining some of those drop balls were soft, they were from cooper and covell..

first half was sh!thouse and really pissed me off..peek and cooper especially..HOLD THE BLOODY BALL..

SEU SEU a man on a mission..2 bell ringers early on and i like the look of de gois and seu seu on at the same time so we can get roll on's fast by 2 quick hookers

kimmorley had another solid game, credit where its due..but 1st half was a bit quiet from him but the team bar one or 2 players stood up in the 2nd half..still have to work on finishing plays and scoring them!!

cooper and covell..how are they still in first grade..they were a black mark on a good game..1.cooper offers nothing and is stiffling our smooth play..and covell goes M.I.A in most of the game..

great game by de gois..best game this year..dangerous when he goes scoot scoot out of dummy half..along with seu seu..same with misi..those 3 players really got our roll ons going....

commentators pointed out..who ever is at 9 needs to look past the 1st person on a play the ball because the forwards who are taking the one out hit ups get smashed and if they skip the first hit up'er..there is space..

nice set plays we used..

great ugly game..which is our go

good to see the true fans come out in the rain, those who can make it anyway. I was a little upset at the lack of blue black and white worn at the game. Well done to the fanatics, from the ET stand you all looked a treat.

yeh the crowd was pretty awesome. 13,000 odd in the wet... not bad at all!

misi was good in attack, but everytime he is put under threat in defence, i almost have a heart attack. dropping that high ball in the 2nd half could have been costly

covell drops it clean in one of his only line breaks this year. i had to laugh

just glad to get the 2pts...

positives-

Misi is our Manu, when he's good, he's really good. I like him though, more bomb practice.

De gois and terence on at the same time is awesome. those 2 and misi out of dummy half gets us going forward evry time without fail.

Frazer was g8 again. is he ok?

Noddy is the ultimate professional, (where was this form for all these years?)

Prediction... Seymour will become one of the dominant halves in the competition!

negatives-

Misi is our Manu, when he's bad.....(under the high ball)

Cooper...why?

Poms.... has he got Beau Scotts locker? the legend lives on.

Covell..... why? somethings gotta give, talk to him, drop him, somthing.

crowd was pretty flat in the first half, combination of the rain and us not playing that great.

second half was much better, we bombed 3 tries after some good breaks, but it was good that we held on there in the last 15 minutes when it seemed the baby broncos had so many sets on our line.

fraser...try saver! he should be ok according to sticky

oh and did anyone see the sign draped from the footbridge on taren pt rd? hehe

2 must win games coming up. bulldogs away and titans at home. if we get them we are on 18 points with 11 games and 1 bye remaining, putting us on track for a top 8 and hopefully top 4 spot. although with our form away from home, 5th wouldn't be too bad either.

^^ are you saying our form away from home is a good thing or a bad thing?

its a good thing.
our style seems to suit well to playing away, so finishing 5th, and to a lesser extent 6th, wouldnt be as tough for us as it may have been in the past.

with that being said, the higher we can finish the better :)
