:mad: Hello fellow fanatics, to say im a little dissapointed after sat nights loss is an understatment, we had em.
any way i spoke with the sharks trainer and he was shattered also, i just want you all to know that the team and coaching staff are doing the best they can! you just have to keep on going.. we have lost around a dozen games by 4 points or less. do the math if we had one those tight ones we would be up there >> right up there >.
i have to add also that we contributed our share on sat night it was a great crowd and one of the best games @ home this year..
all i can say is that we all need to get back on our bikes and rally for the titans game, we deserve a spot in the 8 and who knows its still infinately possible so lets all get there in vioce and send those Titans packing what do ya reakon..
SHOW ME A WINNER AND ILL SHOW YOU A GRINNER.

Yeah we still might make the 8 if all the other teams lose all their points for salary cap breaches :rolleyes:

I like your attitude though, If I lived a bit closer I'd be going to the game, but as it is I'll be cheering them on from somewhere while having a few drinks.

I reckon we can win our next two games, and carry some form into next year.

Give Dykes a send off he'll remember

its rotten luck that dykes wont be able to play the last home game of the season. Ricky said this in this weeks coaches corner,

“While Adam is unlikely to play this week, we will be recognising his contribution to the club with a lap of honour prior to the game on Saturday. He has been an outstanding servant of the Sharks over a long period of time and deserves a fitting farewell, so I hope a large crowd turns up to give him a proper send off."

I hope there's heaps of people there to give him a good send off cos hes done a lot for the club. It would have been awesome if he could of played and heaven forbin if we win. Im spewing I cant be there. i went to Rd2 game at Carrara and had to witness ******* preston's last min match winner...
WAT DO U THINK GUYS, PAY BACK TIME!?!

Re making the eight in 2007...we will straight after the moon lands on my head.
Fact that everyone is disappointed......stand in line. The team's disappointment is for this season, some of the senior players would be disappointed over the last 5 seasons. I have been waiting for 30 freekin' years.
I love the sharks and will support them forever.....but for the love of god, when will that be??

he has been pretty good for the club.....mind you:
1. He had one great season for the club. The rest were avergae;
2. At his prime he left the club for more money even thought he was a sharkboy from day 1;
3. When he was thrown out by the eels the club, once again, threw him a lifeline.
I like Dykes....but in reality he was one player that never quite made it (albeit, partly through injury). I mean Nobby Kimmorley would have played 7 seasons with the sharks by the end of his next contract....we will probably see a lap of honour there as well even if we don't win anything in the next two years. I know 7 years is a lot of service....but how about some results as well.
Can't wait to see the sharks do a lap of honour after a GF!

Peach, if the sharks don't get a move on there might be a hell of a lot of people that bite the raddish with an unfulfilled wish.

The 21-year-old Goodwin, who played junior rugby league for the Gymea club in the local Sutherland Shire competition, comes into the team at the expense of Misi Taulapapa.
Bronx Goodwin, who also played for the Sharks in the lower grades before moving to Canberra, has played 10 games for the Raiders in 2007.
Goodwin is the son of St George legend ‘Lord’ Ted, with Bryson recently making a remarkable recovery after breaking his leg in the match against Penrith just eight weeks ago. Since returning from injury he has played two matches for the Sharks in the Premier League.
A goal-kicking winger or centre, Goodwin is good under the high ball and is always keen to get involved in his team’s attacking play.

Peachey.....spot on mate,spot on,there are only so many times you can watch another team do a lap of honour after a GF victory.There's only so many times(in the last few years that Barry Pierce has been on the NRL committee) that I can watch him give the premiership rings to another teams players with that fake smile on his face.Excuse me for being negative but I can't see us ever winning a premiership.Jack Gibson got it right with the Harold Holt thing.
