No surprises there. Good to see alot of the young guys get a run.

Hopefully it's televised, though I've got a wedding when it's on but can catch a replay

Swap Tracey and Trindall.

I’d also have one or Lualua or Tevaga in the starting lineup over Lorenzo... but it’s possible there was a bit of a handshake deal for the twins to get a game together. In any case it’s a trial so after about 45 minutes the team won’t look much like the starting lineup.

I wasn't sure which way around to have Tracey and Trindall. I think I remember people arguing about it on here previously.

As for the Lorenzo thing... yeah I figured since there is no clear starter (to me, who knows **** all about him, Lualua or Tevaga) I thought he might get the chance to start alongside Ronnie.

Dogs have sent a decent side so will be a good test for our young guys, especially in the opening 20-30.

Tevaga is a centre
Lualua is a fullback/winger and pretty good goal kicker
Lorenzo was previously a centre (in Brisbane) but has played a little bit of back row and wing also

They are rated in that order.

Also - the following depth players are not named for this one. Interesting to see that some of the 20's players and Newtown guys (Gray, Lolo, Talakai) are getting a run over some of these players. Could be a few minor injuries (or a few dodgy blokes who couldn't get visas).

Mawene Hiroti
Jake Kambos
Cruz Topai-Aveai
Jack A. Williams
Josh Carr
Monty Raper (confirmed injured)
Jensen Taumoepeau (20's)

The Jets and 20's have games this week so some of those guys might pop up ithere.

Based on that then maybe we'll see a Tevaga Ronnie combo start instead. Although still wouldn't surprise me to get them on together at some stage.

I just wondered about Hiroti in another thread. I would have thought Cruz would be getting a run somewhere unless we have given up on him (or injured), given he was top 30 last season.

Carr is injured too, saw a photo of him in a leg brace recently. Not sure what the injury or recovery time.

Is that who was in the leg brace when they went to help with the bushfire cleanup?

Wonder if King or Patterson will play any time in halves (not sure who else could?), otherwise may be a full game effort from Tracey and Trindall.
Either way they will get big minutes so hopefully game is streamed.
Probably some of the backs will play most/all of the game too but forwards could rotate a lot with like 12 on the list.

Yeah - Carr was on crutches a couple of weeks ago but he was out of them in the most recent pics so I didn’t add him to the injury thread.

Paterson can play 7. Kennedy also has played 6.

Kennedy can only shift into halves if someone else covers FB. Lualua or maybe Ronnie could, probably wouldn't shift Katoa there.
I think with our squad at the moment Kennedy needs to focus on FB.

Possibly. Vasquez is also in a leg brace or something isn't he ?

Was definitely Carr in the leg brace in the bushfire pics.

I missed Vasquez on my list though. Haven’t noticed him being injured. Where did you guys see that?

Ferris is also capable of playing fullback.

It's a secret can't tell you ...

Ok fine. Fifita posted something on social media on his podcast and Vasquez was there... in a brace
