shame we cant watch this on tv.

Yea would be good to watch, I also had an interest in the Unders 16's State of Origin. One of the blokes I used to work with has a little brother that played in it. I believe he got man of the match.

Well done to the boys.

Does anyone else find it ironic players are selected to rep from NSW Cup in positions we believe are our weak spots in the top side (centres). Shows the massive gap between NSW Cup and NRL IMO

It does show that gap, but it also shows despite not having the greatest first choice centres we have very good depth there.

Ricky has alot of potential but I think at this point Poms and Collis are both better options, especially since we have really young halves. I know many on here are always looking for the next big superstar but to me it makes more since to bring them in slowly, and one by one, to ease them in to first grade. Have to balance youth and experience.

Great experience for Ricky though to be selected in this game and I really rate him. I remember Cov earmarked him as his replacement so he can't be far off.
