I am afraid to say, after the match with the storm, i am really worried that the sharks are not going to get of this ****ing slump  in time and make the top 8. I watched all the game with alot of disapointment:( . But our whole game has changed, from being one of the most decipline sides in teh NRL they might as well be last, every 2nd tackle they would try to lift the ****ing player:confused:(why) , a player running up to quickly leaving a gap (which lead to a melbourne try), stupid offloads, raking the ball (again lead to a try), just little things like that need to be patched back up.The sharks have to some how get their season back alive.

This will probably not happen but it is starting to become a joke!
If they can get the basics right they can get back on track but what i have seen over the last 4 weeks, it has been crap!

It really depends how soon we get Simmonds and Bailey back. We need both of them cause unfortuantely Scott, Pommeroy and Tosh just arent ready for the top grade.
There's no reason we can't beat the Knights at Shark Park next week. And we wont be playing in that hideous white outfit which has become a curse.

Cronulla are a joke. No attack, and further more the pack is all wrong. Villasanti is a starter. Here we are again letting players go. Stosic gone to Gold Coast and Villasanti has signed with the Tigers. There it is, we let Galloway go, Villasanti, Stosic etc etc etc. Cronulla will never win a comp.

As for letting players go, they punished Latu too harshly, and they also let a real goer in Jason Williams go. The club has NFI!!!

I have followed Cronulla for too long, and they make the same old mistakes.

Have a look at tonights bench why does Maiava get dropped for Hilder? Playing against a huge pack and we bring lightweights.

Bring back John Lang.

cant agree more.... like last year hutch was our starting prop and im not sayin stoisc is crap but i dink hutch is better... and like rite now the sharks have fuken let 45000000000000 players go... and for that jason williams thing u said... he was an abolsute gun ... and he is still a gun... cronulla lets too many players go.....

preston cambell...... nick youngquest...... jason williams... keith galloway..... paul franze.... and the list goes on and on... but the thing is cronulla seriously needs to learn to keep hold of good players

ITs so ****en frustrating being a sharks supporter especially when its the same thing as the year before, i mean didint they learn anything from last year, what is raper doing, is he still unconcerned bout history repeating its self.
There is no use pretending dykes and noddy work cos they dont, the stats are there, kearney at 5/8 we were winning, dykes and noddy get back together and we are losing, raper cant ignore that situation. Yea our handling and defence have been the main factors but stats are stats and we were winning with kearney at 5/8.
Im sick of being let down, im sick of getting my hopes up and having my hopes go crashing down year after year, COME ON YOU SHARKS, DONT LET US SHARKS FANS DOWN AGAIN, DO IT FOR SLUDGE.

The Sharks are going to have to start thinking hard about rebuilding around the halves next year. Do they keep Kimmorley and Dykes beyond 2007 or invest in different styles of players from 2008? Im not anti Kimmorley and Im not blaming him for the recent losses. But it's a fact that our club has not gelled with him as halfback. Some brave and possibly unpopular decisions are needed. But somehow I dont think the Pierces think beyond next week.

hey all, long time shark fan and long time sufferer. Can't belive this rubbish. Where is the fire? If you can't get fired up after comments (which were all 100% true) in today's paper when will you? Raper needs to be kicked up the ass for this pathetic display and so do many of the players. How many stupid things can you do in a half of football? Lifting, forward passes (dykes has done nothing since coming back - back to his best i guess) rushing up and simply bad options in attack and defence. Wake up you bastards.

The bloke in the middle (supposedly a referee) isn't much better. I am sick of seeing this happen to us and I'm getting sick of forkin out $100s of dollars a year, buying season tix, going to away games etc. Supporters I believe need to use their voice more against lackluster efforts. Coming 4-10th isn't good enough, but many inside the club have the opinion it is. Just heard Raper praised the boys efforts in the 1st half, surely he must be joking... I didn't see too many there that looked like they wanted to be playing.

Yeah I'm with you hammerhead, what are those 2 so called managers thinking? Don't understand how Greg got the job in the first place? Wait yes i do, its the old sharks philosophy...jobs for the boys... its not what you know its who... In a multi million dollar business i search should go out for the best possible person for the job not the best son.

Have to agree it is too much. For too long mediocrity has been the standard @ Cronulla. The only bloke that had any idea John Lang and they got rid of him. I think its overdue for Barry Pierce to pi** off. The Club will never win a comp, and year after year after year we let good players go and then buy the likes of Darren Mapp etc. What a f joke!

Someone should persuade Gavin Miller to stand at the next election along with a few business heavies from the Shire. Problem is, most ex players have quit the board in disgust in recent years (Dane Sorensen and Jonathan Docking are two notables) cause they didnt agree with the way the place was run.

Hammerhead you are spot on... Gavin Miller would be an awesome president and i have been saying it for years...he has the club in his heart...look how he played in the jersey...he'd play with a busted nose...busted ribs you name it...and yes we need some business heavies runnin this joint...the people there now couldn't run a chook raffle at the pub...the way the team's going they couldn't win it either. Those two so called managers have turned the place upside down and got rid of the wrong people. I still don't understand why you concentrate on buildin a retirement village when our main focus should be winning a comp

well villa scored...he's not at his best but buggered if i know why you let a player go who has played for Australia and buy some neville no one to replace him. you don't lose talent like that only confidence, but hey that's the intelligence of those who buy the players in this club...look for the cheap buys and try to make em into world beaters...hasn't worked in 40 years and never will...there's a reason why their cheap, there no good generally

yeah i'll be going but only cause i have season tix. my old man has been supporting this club for 40 years...been going to games for 40 years and has put a lot of money through this club...he has had a gutful and is now seriously considering pullin the plug, tonight was the last straw...he hates and so do i, sharks fans continually saying 'theres always next year' that's the worst attitude to have, being happy with losing is not good. he can not stand how the club is being run at the current time and the attitude behind the club. i guess after 40 years everyone has a breaking point, especially when you put your hard earnt money into the club year after year.

Guys you've got to remember you can only buy what you can afford. This club has not turned a profit for a long time - despite the way they present the numbers in the annual report. And with home crowds down 21% this year there will be more red ink ahead.

Cheap players have always been the answer and probably always will be - with the exception of a select few. That's why they let players walk out the door - they simply cannot and will not pay players more than they believe they are worth irrespective of the salary cap.

As for Barry Pierce, I have to say he has been a real toiler for this club, I have a lot of time for the man. It's Greg Pierce down where i start to scratch my head. Where are all the strategic thinkers?

bit of contradiction there hammerhead...one minute your calling for changes the next your standing up for them...look all i'm sayin is its time for a change in the club...everyone goes stale after a while in the one place...bring in the fresh blood...hammer i know the state of the club isn't great but any business man will tell you to make money you gotta spend it..its a catch 22 but you gotta bite the bullet and makes some big calls cause if we don't nothin will change on the field

No, Im just saying we can wish for the best people all we like - fact is we cant afford them.

Absolutely no doubt there needs to be change from the top down - it needs to be more of a performance-driven culture. We all get our chance to vote at the next elections.

Having said that - you've got to concede Barry has been the glue over many rocky periods (the Gow episode, the Anderson saga, Rogers) and for that he deserves credit.

scored but he is ordinary ,he missed tackles and lacked hit ups he definately not a starter or a first grader ,stosic was far better.Over all dissapointing very very ordinary
