I've seen nothing from Flannagan to get excited about to be honest. But in one game I've watched of Trindall I see plenty to get excited about.
The biggest pre-requisite for a good half back in my opinion is the ability to run and take on the line and cause the defensive line a few problems.
Flannagan doesnt seem to have much of this.

Got a huge boot on him, biggest in the club from what I've seen. And they have accuracy. Some of the touch finders he does are nuts.

And not sure what his goal kicking stats were for the season but they'd be impressive. Of the 5 or 6 games I caught this year he was constantly getting 100-95%

Sharkcast said something like they were worried about not having a half at the start of the season. Where did he come from? Has he always been in our system?

He was a new signing part way into the season. Not sure from where.

Tell me about it. I cringe every time I see chad put up a bomb. He was hitting them better than last year, but something, something.

Jersey Flegg Team Updated for 2019. I have removed the players who will graduate up and have also excluded Xerri from the list since it's highly likely he starts with the Jets or Sharks next year.

This will obviously change a bit once I figure out the ages for some of the extra guys and also more of the SG Ball team who might be coming up.

Crazy half/hooker and prop depth for next season but a bit light on for outside backs. My guess would be Broadhurst and Trindall start in the halves with Millard moving to the bench and Ernst possibly playing Fullback. Declan Casey may also come up from 20's, and Scarpelli has a Rugby Union fullback before coming to the Sharks - so a few options.

Blue = re-signed in 2018
Orange = new signing for 2019

Wasn't really sure where to put this, but Brailey was named at 14 for the Jnr Kangaroos and Kyle Flanno as 18th man. Jackson Ferris in the centres for the Jnr Kiwis too. Great effort from all three, will be worth watching.

Surprised not to see Xerris name. I think he said he wasn’t going to put his hand up so he could focus on training for first grade

Considering Xerri was a late inclusion in the NSW 20’s team he wouldn’t have been first in line for the Aussie team. The other centres picked are also 2 years older than him.

Jack Gould is still on the list for now. He didn’t get a start this year but was playing local A grade for the Gorillas.
