Hey Guys,

I'm looking to set up a SuperCoach draft comp. Just looking to see how many are interested so I can finalise how many teams we would have in the league.

Also, I think an offline draft is the best way too do it IMO, but I'll add a poll for a vote to see what you guys reckon.

Add your name to the list if you're interested.

I'll probably have a go but I'll leave my name off for now.

Nope. Is it like the comps that The Tele and so on run?

Yeah it is the comp the Tele runs.

Basically you get X amount of dollars in your salary cap and you can pick your team however you wish based on fitting all your players under the salary cap. In this case we will be doing a draft though, so multiple teams won't be able to pick the guns like RTS, Parker, Gal etc. Only one team can choose them.

The players you picked get points based off their in game performances of that week and whoever has the most points by years end is the winner. Or you can play head to head style and your team is coming up against another member of the comps team. Whoever has more points at the completion of the round wins that week and whoever has the most H2H wins is deemed the winner.

Also players value/prices increase and decrease over the course of the season based on wether their performances are deemed better or worse than their current supercoach money value.

I'm sure someone can explain the whole concept a lot better than that, but that's what the comp entails in a nutshell.

I played draft last year.

Few things, there is no salary cap in draft. If you take it seriously enough, you met up and do a whole draft thing and pick players in order.
But I'd say we will all be randomly assigned the players in order of their ranking in SC.

You also trade players between each other, for example: Sharkyboy: hey HB, I need a forward, I'll give you Billy slater for Matt Scott? Basically like that.

And this idiot is making it way more complicated than it needs to be. Play head to head Sharkyboy vs HB and whoever has more points wins that week. There will be a ladder like NRL and finals and whoever wins the final wins the comp.

Any questions ask me, not this bloke :')

Btw it should be a maximum of 12 players as after that there simply isn't enough talent to spread accross the comp

Looks like I won't have time to scratch myself this season with the amount of comps I'm in - but OK I'm in
