While we're still in the finals race, I thought I'd get the ball rolling for the forums' Player of the Year.

I'd have to go with Jez; was menacing this season and really stood up during the Origin period and Gal's lengthy absence. Defense was brutal, as was his go forward and his crafty ballwork at the line. A tip of the hat to Gibbsy and Wade though, as both were immense as well.

Todd Carney.

Came to the club with so much pressure and bad publicity around him.

The guy has stayed out of trouble, made the state of Origin team with his terrific start of the year performances and given the club some good publicity for once.

Regardless of what people may think he is a big reason we have done so well this year. I really wanna give it up to Toddy!

Hard one. Gibbs, wade and jez would be my top 3

Agree with those 3. Slightly lean to Wade as when origin absence hit, both he and Jez took it up a notch, however since we have lost Wade to injury, our performance has dropped.

Gibbo is like vanilla ice cream, good but nothing special, but at least you know what you're going to get

I would have to go Jez aswell, Graham was close... So close but those nasty niggling injuries got the best of him right at the end and he wasn't at Jezzas level at the last part of the season. Galls was a workhorse throughout the season... and Fifita, what an improvement the young guy has made since the start, definately the most improved of the lot.

Real hard one. There's about 5 or 6 players that I just can't decide between. Jez is definitely one of them, but there's a couple of moments stopping him from being out and out #1 for me. More than once he's been lazy in defence at the back end of a game and even cost us a win. This takes him to 9/10 instead of 10/10 mind you. If Graham had played every game I think he'd be my first pick.

Its hard to go past graham. fifta has been massive for us impact wise this year. Jez has been good but as mark said a big hard season and one of the first in a while where he has played majority games has taken its toll i think.

I'll stick with graham.

Fifita has come home fast with a wet Sail.
A great second half of the season.

But I would still choose Gallen.
