Sandon Smith without that Try + LB is probably sitting at 10 points. Cheapie hooker route looks dangerous this year

I ended up moving Watson up - no bye until round 10
Can move him down when a decent cheapie is apparent, rather than start with a gamble.
Although was tempted just to start with the eels kid, he looks good and Hands is mid AF

I sat in Sandor and Paix for ages, moved to same as you for last few days but then last minute figured I’d rather pick which 2RF to get rid of and move Watson down rather than have to do a cheapie sideways swap

Unfortunately the extra back rower was Lucas moving up and making space for Mark Nahasapeemapetilon
Although he scored fine and looked promising as an SC player

I just don't know what to do with my 5/8... I don't like Brown and I currently have Luai. And after Nicho and Metcalf's performances is making me pretty nervous! I kind of want to POD and go with Hunt, I think he'll carve it up in that Brissie team. The other option is Munster. I can afford any of them.. the clock is ticking...!!

Have to say I was pretty happy with my Round 1 score considering I don't know what the hell I am doing.

1284 I think is higher than any other score I have had previously. I've had to sub and trade a few out because of injury and with Storm having the bye.

Advice from someone who scored less but be wary of trading unnecessarily. You don’t need 26 scoring players each week - Storm players or short term injuries I’d be holding.

Looking at your team no hooker is an issue. You could get by if there wasn’t one you wanted though (you’ll get your AE instead - ask if not sure what that is).
Egan Butcher you bought him injured so wait and see.
Munro I haven’t seen suggested return date - I’d call him a hold on any other player with that injury, especially week 1, but there’s an argument with his ongoing issues to go down to cheap who will make money.

Massive round 1 scores.
Flex def makes a big difference (get an extra good score instead of worst score) but overall still a high scoring round - especially given both Hynes and Cleary were only okay

Thanks mate. I haven't traded Harry out totally, he's on my reserve bench until he is back. Starling is back up. For some reason I picked Levi first as I had seen him in the trials but wasn't ready for him not being named. Have traded him out now.

All in all, I am happy to go into my chosen 18 plus reserves with some confidence.

By the way, another aspect of Supercoach I wasn't aware of is that you can see what players everyone has picked. Didn't realise you could do that.

They’d have been a lot closer if Hynes kicked goals
‘Most’ people had 2 of Hynes Cleary and Duffy so ARey is a great POD (difference) pick.
It is a high performing position to have a non-player as your backup though, but you start with same salary cap to spend as everyone else so it’s not an issue if you spent the difference wisely (until broncos bye)

Mate I reckon trade out Levi - move either Mcinness or Plath to hooker and buy a cheap second rower like Gos.

You can then switch around Mcinness and Plath as needed as they have the same duals ..

@Sir Chadley unless you really think Starling is going to go great long term this would be a great fit for your team
