Smith seams to have a better offload and passing game so I would like to see him run in the second row. So I say gallen stays lock.

I reckon we should have Gallen there but that said it would do no harm to play Smith there. I also wouldn'd mind seeing Morris or Aiton have short stints there (mainly late in halves) so we could have a ball playing lock and have both of them on the field.

Smith but if bukuya was to get fit I could see him being a very damaging lock with toops off the bench

I'm not a fan of having Gallen run the edges. His natural inclination is to work, so I'd rather have him at lock where he has a licence to roam and do what he likes. It seems to be what he wants to do, so I wouldn't be taking it away from him. He can still run the edges if the opportunity presents itself.
