I would like to see Mills and Tongia. However I wouldn't start the season with them unless one/both demand a place in the trials.

If neither demanded a spot I would go with a combo of these three depending on who has had the best preseason (Williams, Gordon or Stapleton). This is mainly to start the season with experience. I'm more then happy to start with Mills and Tongia if they show reason for it.

It's weird how Williams didn't really get a mention in those facebook conversations.

If Stapo is fit and training well I would like to see him build on his few really good games in 2009.
I've said before I really liked Tongia's aggresssion in the four nations.

Damn, it feels good to be undecided though. This time last year I would be lucky to pick 2, and this year their is probably 3 or 4 combinations I would be happy with.

Yeah we've got some decent depth in the backs this year. Also have some experience and some inexperienced players with potential.

We have a lot of young talent in the backs, its just a matter of who steps up like gardaner did last year. I get the feeling stapleton will have a good year this year if he stays injury free.

I'd say go with the experience of Stapleton and Williams.

Mills, Tongia need to earn their stripes in the lowers first.

Has Gordon baulked up a bit? Has he learnt how to tackle.

I see Best as a centre first, winger second.

I think Colin Best will be on the wing this season with Collis and Pomeroy in the centres....Other wing will be Williams as he is a kicker...So a pretty safe standard wing paring there...later on in the season Mills and Tongia and all the others will no doubt have a go due to injuries/supensions and form...

I've heard from those in the know that Stapleton is kicking at 85% and is ahead of Williams for the wing spot.

Thats good news. I'm tired of hoping ordinary footballers will come good.
