I saw your polls before last season and I think we should do that again as it creates conversation during the off season.

I will start with fullback even though we all know who will be picked.

Very happy to have Stapleton on board as he is good for depth but has to be Gards at this stage.

Far out its already been a year!!!!!!!!!!

p.s.....I remember the issue from last year was for if you wanted a player to play only in one position if he missed out on another. For example, if I wanted Gards at fullback only if he couldnt play 5/8th. Or if I wanted Pom in the second row, only if he missed the centre spot. Or Gal in the second row, only if Smith was getting lock.

Anyway, it is hard to fix this issue.

As it stands, despite being interested to see what Gards could do at 5/8th (which I reckon he would be a deadset gun), I will settle with him as our gun fullback.

Imagine it like this- just take what you think is our best team for 2011, and vote for each player in their position. If you have (say) Ike at fullback and Gards at 5/8th, then vote for Ike in this poll.

I agree, so IMO the threads need to be made in a certain order. For example you'd always chose Lock before second row, and exclude whoever wins the lock position from being in the second row poll.

The winner of fullback shouldn't be in the centers poll etc.

I think the order should go...

1 - Fullback
2 - Lock
3 - Centres
4 - Halves
5 - Wingers
6 - Hookers
7 - Second Row
8 - Props

And assume 4 back rowers, 4 props, 2 hookers in the 17.

This gives say Pomeroy a shot at centres and if he doesn't make it he then gets a shot at second row. It gives Morris a shot at the halves and also a shot at hooker. It gives Broderick Wright a shot in the second row and then a shot at prop as well.

Yea that is a good order actually Mark I might go with that, if anyone else has any suggestions I made a thread for suggestions.

Gardner for sure, no real point in making this poll but I'm glad it was cause I got to see that someone went Stapo over Gards :drunk

I'm going to declare Gardner the winner for fullback and start the lock poll.
