Fair enough, I forgot about his suspension.

He should be good to go. I played some footy in my backyard the other day with my son. Pele didn’t play, so I’ve applied to Andrew Abdo for that to count as his missed game.

NSW Cup 2022 Season Preview | Newtown Jets

The NSWRL has cast its eye over the 12 teams who will take part in The Knock-On Effect NSW Cup in 2022, with the opening round to kick off on Saturday 12 March. Today, the Newtown Jets.

A couple of snippets:

Matterson nominated Cook Islands international Reuben Rennie was one to look out for in 2022.

“He’s played a couple of NRL trials in the backrow and ‘Fitzy’ has been impressed with him,” he said.

“Young lock Tyler Slade was captain of the Sharks U20s side last year and we’ve got really big hopes for him – he looked really good in the trials and I think he can push through to the NRL.”

Very important backyard footy match no doubt. Important bragging rights at stake and a celebratory fizzy drink, so I can’t see why it shouldn’t be given the green light based on some of the other rulings earlier this season.

henson park is having the surface re-done in time for the footy festival, whilst they moved the jets game at the request of the jets - team didnt want to play at shark park
