I hate the on field warm ups , take them out the back somewhere , first glimpse of the players should be as they are introduced and run on the field , that builds excitement.

Don't want no sing songs , it's F'n footy FFS , but I don't mind a few hard rock tunes like Kick Start my Heart etc before.

I used to love the build up in tension by watching the thirds and reserves run around before 1sts .

Like Gando said, the field is they only place the can warm up.

A pity NSW cup is played out of Henson, I also miss watching all 3 grades, the first 2 games set the temp for 1st grade.

So do I ,It gave you a real chance to see how the players in the lower grades were performing and when we had reserve grade the step up to First was not so difficult and a player could come back from injury then ease his way back to firsts.

Mate, it's "all around the Shire" not "from The Shire"! If you're at Sharks Park, you've come from "all around".

Lighten up, mate! Have some fun, it's just a song to sing pre-game for the crowd to entertain themselves. It's not an official Club song or anything. Who knows, it might catch on.

Absolutely, it sounded great when we had a large group singing it yesterday. Response was unanimously positive, many were from outside the Shire.
