Sharks 50th Season

Maybe it's time that we return the shark to facing the "right" ... ie: towards the heart if worn on the jersey on the left breast as is the case with all the previous representations of the Shark and the Ship. I like the ideas behind a lot of these offerings. Feel a little meh about the Club's 4 choices. under-whelming.

Its the best of a bad lot.

They showed of some fan submissions and a majority of them had our old shark on them. Still didn't get the hint.

"The Cronulla Sharks today unveils the official logo that will be used to commemorate the Club’s 50th Anniversary in 2017.

The ‘50th Anniversary’ design incorporates a black circular base, as seen across the Club’s long-standing logo, through years 1978 to 1997, while featuring the existing Shark of the current-day design (appropriated 2004-present).

The ‘50th Anniversary’ logo also includes golden text representing the 50-year celebrations and in honouring the Golden Jubilee and the Club’s entry into what was then the premier NSWRL competition."
