Hi Guys,

First installment of this years podcast is now live.

In it there is a detailed preview of the season, in depth analysis of the ins and outs and a huge announcement. Details are at the end of the pod.

The next time you will hear us will be when we call the Manly trial. We are hopeful at this point that will be done on the clubs official platform, but whatever happens we will be streaming it officially or unofficially.

Good episode lads.

Interesting to hear that Ricky might be on the outer and that Chad has been the best trainer.

Edit: Will the mailbag be back at some point this season? Buk Lau needs to make another appearance.

Glad these are back.

Good to hear that Chad and Mckillrick* are training well. Matt is one of the players i've been curious about over the off-season.

Would like to hear a bit more about these newer players and players like Gagan and Nu.

100% on the cowboy game! Best time to play them but history has shown it's not guaranteed! I remember a while ago playing Melb after they had won the comp and we gave them a serious run for their money at Shark Park... Just on that, could we get a bit of info on what is happening with the naming rights with the stadium.

Thanks Sam and Newman. Have to admit last night was the first time I had listened to the podcast - heard bits and pieces before but not the whole thing.

Looking forward to hearing more.

Thanks mate. Aboslutely right! :p

What I didn't mention was that I fell asleep halfway through and had to re-wind back when I woke up. I'll use the excuse that it was late at night, I'd just come back from my 6km walk and I'm old.

Anyone know if the Boys recorded a show yesterday?

Is it every Thursday from when the season kicks off?

It wasn't a set day last season, Greg. Was anywhere from Wednesday to Friday. That may have changed this year though, not sure.

I just have "Thursday night recording" in my head.

Could be wrong, was just about to get in the car for drive home and was wondering if they had a new episode.

Great stuff guys, good to see you both pumped for the upcoming season.
I can't believe the Barba/Bird fullback talk is out there still, it's an absolute no brainer that Barba should be the fullback. Everyone sees except just two guys. Just don't want it to have a negative impact on our season.
