Ha! With the amount of team bashing that goes on, maybe it should be a Sharks piñata!
I was talking to someone of my vintage the other day and we both laughed about the self-deprecating psyche of Sharks fans as a whole.
Perhaps we need to embrace that?
RedSox did it for a bajillion years until they won the WS but it was something that galvanised them.
I mean, if we collectively laugh at someone who has a Sharks number plate that says "NXT-YEAR" maybe that is the true organic self of who we are.
Maybe we are the mutts that Bill Murray referred to in his eloquent speech in Stripes.
Just a thought.
