Funny how the Art Gallery of NSW was expanded and upgraded for $350 million and nobody batted an eye.
Shh don't bring logic to this conversation, please.Spent over a ten year period and 100 million of it was private investment.
Also crazily enough, the Art gallery is going to generate 1000% more revenue for the state than the stadiums.
Thanks mate. This question has probably been asked before, but will the new buildings enable us to park in there on game days?Just a drone photo update from last week:
Woolooware Bay
It’s all happening way down there. Woolooware Bay is excitement central, with plenty of work being done and completion getting closer every day. This bird’s eye view tells the story....www.facebook.com
Yeah according to the original DA, it was going to be as follows:Thanks mate. This question has probably been asked before, but will the new buildings enable us to park in there on game days?
I imagine based on that wording, it could easily change before launch time.On game days, it is proposed to allow retail customers and residential visitors to continue to
access the Town Centre precinct. Retail access on game days will occur only through the
eastern signals, and only to the basement floor. This will facilitate 200 spaces for the retail
customers and residential visitors which are less than normally available, though still a
reasonable provision. Tenants will be notified of game day operations. The remaining 566
spaces would be for retail staff, club staff and club patrons. This operation will be subject to
change following monitoring
Thanks mate. I guess it is a case of watch this space!Yeah according to the original DA, it was going to be as follows:

yeah. construction issues. roof replacement and suchThe redeveloped Sharks Leagues Club is scheduled to follow some time between February and August 2024.
Wow
So another season of no leagues club. Ive been to 5 Sharks games this year and not one of them at Shark Park. **** fightThe redeveloped Sharks Leagues Club is scheduled to follow some time between February and August 2024.
Wow
The club is definitely missing a trick here. They need to get a cracker under the contractors to get this finished as quickly as possible.I've been to every home game but it's definitely a pain in the ass with the road closures and what not.
Would be very happy to sit in the leagues club for a couple of hours after each game before ordering an Uber.
I live 2.5-3 hours away mate. The effort isnt worth it at this point. Stadium facilities are poor, parkings a bitch, but still will be afterwards completion too. Leagues club at least gives you somewhere to have a pregame beer and something after too.I've been to every home game but it's definitely a pain in the ass with the road closures and what not.

Pretty standard for any large construction project, especially with the supply issues of the last few years. The club is definitely missing a trick here. They need to get a cracker under the contractors to get this finished as quickly as possible.
It does seem to have been delayed several times now.
CommBank is the best by farI live 2.5-3 hours away mate. The effort isnt worth it at this point. Stadium facilities are poor, parkings a bitch, but still will be afterwards completion too. Leagues club at least gives you somewhere to have a pregame beer and something after too.
