I don't mind playing at Kogarah. This type of things happen in sport all the time, bitter rivals forced to share a ground. Nearly all NY major league teams have a common ground.

But we'd be stupid not to explore all other options, especially if it lines our pockets

Defiantly if it’s a game to Darwin and a game to sun shine coast. I would be trying to avoid perth big time, that’ll give incentive to nrl which we don’t want. Taking it elsewhere would be great. Though kogarah would be the best choice as sharks fans don’t travel

Doggies are cashing in with 3 games in 3 yrs (1 each yr) to be played in Perth.

2yrs seems a ridiculously long time if we're not getting a stadium. BankWest was almost done in that time after a total knockdown.

I guess we hope we could choose 2 out of cheap, good and quick. Hopefully we get cheap & good at the expense of quick.

I feel though football is becoming less and less of the business. Effectively shutting down the footy for 2yrs will see membership lucky to crack 9k.

2yrs is a long time. 15 ****ing minutes without content is an age today. Big risk.

Dangerous if a lot of fans get out of the habit going to games too (even though Kograh is convenient still). Fans who might have gone to 80% of home games sit out two years then go to a few when it comes back, because they used to go, but it’s no longer an ingrained activity for them.

we are getting additional seating, but not much

but the southern stand is getting a rejig- i think they are building things into the ET stand and the PB stand is getting additions

i posted the file on earlier pages, will find it so we can see exactly what is happening and why it is taking 2 years

it makes sense to do work on the stadium side of things along with the car park if we aren't going to be playing there anyway and it is essentially shut but the reality is that it needs a alot more work to bring it up to where it needs to be

You'd really have to wonder the price difference of just going full demo on the eastern side. Given that the whole carpark is being developed around and joined to the existing building, which can make it more complicated than starting from scratch.

That whole side being new would have made the stadium appear a lot better given it's the oldest part, had no roof, and was most visible on TV.

Yeah that should have been a given. Should have made a steep double decker modern stadium on that side of the field, except with one corner being the rooftop deck and the other being the hotel. Something like Skilled.

EDIT: It's CBUS and isn't double decker, I've had a shocker.

How are people meant to know the full facts. The sharks need to come out with a full statement
Of what’s happening / improvements to the stadium.
