Just a moot point guys and gals.

Seymour has shown good form of late and possibly had an even more improved game tonight

Is he playing well enough to oust Kimmorley?

Is Kimmorley still more capable than Seymour?

Opinions please

I was again impressed by Seymour tonight, as I have been for the last few weeks.I think he has a big future at the club. One thing I've noticed is he isn't afraid to run the ball or pass on the last tackle on the opposition try line. Noddy almost exclusively kicks it.
I'd hope that Ricky makes Noddy earn his spot back (if he can, Seymour's on fire). You can't just drop Seymour with the consistent form he's been showing.

for sure. seymour is only getting better. he has spark in attack, takes on the line, and sh%tloads of natural talent. I dont want to go back to Noddy.

I think Seymour has the talent but Kimmorley is the incumbent. Give Noddy first crack at the gig next year and let's see how he goes with someone nipping at his heals. I don't think he's had that pressure for a while, let's hope he rises to the challenge.

And with Blake Green coming on board, Seymour is also a handy alternative if he can't cut the mustard.

if seymour doesnt keep the top job after the way he's been playing i reckon he'll be asking for a release ( and i wouldnt blame him, cant help ppl that wont help themselves) and thanx to his performance lately hell have other clubs eager to snap him up for more $$ than we're paying him. Rickys got to think about this very carefully.

I think that noddy will get first shot but Seymour is killing it lately. We will have a few good halves next year in Noddy, Green, Watts, Seymour and if needed Bird

Agree, our halves are looking good with the first 4, but maybe it's just me but Bird is on fire as a lock so I'm keen for him to stay in the forward pack.

Does any one know why they signed Kimorley for 2 years.

Bird should be back where he belongs at lock. His kicking game has a lot to be desired.

I just worry about slotting 4 top class backrowers into the side... I wouldn't want Williams to feel unwanted and leave.

Birds Bombs are one of the best bombs i have seen. almost every fullback who has been up against birds bombs has struggled with them. there crazy kicks. im warming to Bird at 6 and Seymour at 7 next year. with Gallen Williams and Thompson as the back row

im still not convinced about bird being a first choice 5/8 but as, jigsaw says, im warming to it. i think hed suit noddys game even more than seymours, as noddy likes to have even more control. where as birds biggest strenght is his running, and he has alright ball playing skills when called upon, and his kicks arent to bad, he can get good height on the bombs. i just hope we dont try 7.noddy 6.seymour next year because thatll be even worse than noddy/dykes imo. those 3 mentioned all like to be in control and they just end up gettin in eachothers way

i'd rather birdy be at lock to be more of a running player and sometimes a ball player. and with those bombs, he can still do that at lock can't he?
