My point is Sam, the names you mention here, Green can cover for if there was an injury during the game (touch wood there isnt), seu seu can only cover one position, thats my point on why green IMO is the better option.

Fair enough but IMO I dont believe you should have a player on the bench just in case of injuries. You want subs to play their role and offer impact. Seu Seu offers that. Strong defender, scoots well from dummy half and has a crisp pass. If injuries occur, then adjust where you have to.

because theres no1 else in the team who could cover for an injury in the halves is there
if only we had some kind of ball playing forward, maybe with some previous experience in the halves, maybe even a current aussie 5/8 jersey...
we dont need green to cover lock or 2nd row we have backrowers on the bench

I've seen nothing from Green or Seu Seu to make me a big fan, so I've got to agree that if Green were as good as peachey seems to think, he'd be in the team over Seu Seu. Not to mention I'd be hearing calls from more people to get Green in firsts, peach seems to be the only bloke who remebers (or gives a sh!t) that we signed Green.

Perhaps the lads here that go to all or most of the reggies matches could give us an opinion on how Green has been going?

Think a few people have gone off track here. I wasn't suggesting Green is a better player than Seu Seu, my point to Sam was I just belive as Green can cover more positions than Seu Seu that IMO he would be the better option as a reserve in the current squad. If we are talking better players overall, why wouldn't we leave the team as was from Fri nite, but use Kearny as the interchange for Degois. Imaging unleahing him on a tired set of forwards at that 60min mark.
With all this shi* going on with Bird we will probally see Green in lock now anyway.
