Clearly not ready for 1st grade but with all the injuries Shepard mustn't had much choice.
Hopefully bulk up in the off season better for the experience.

Yep, definitely agree with this. He tried hard, made a lot of tackles in the 20 odd minutes he played each game, just seemed to come off second best against the bigger fellas in the middle of the field sometimes. Another good pre-season, I'd have no problems with him running around in NSW Cup again.

But yeah, in terms of second rowers he was behind the other NSW Cup guys like Sopoaga/Roqica/Masima/Ayshford on the call-up stakes, and of the 5 I think Masima would be the one who would've moved up on the "list", he can play.

I remember everyone loving kurt's aggro but always admired dane for his toughness. Just unbelievable. I remember him taking a hit up one day and attracting about four tacklers who just could not bring him down. Eventually the ref took pity on them and called held. The look on the big mans face was priceless.

It was good to have him or the name associated with the sharks again but I dont think he's going to be anything more than average in the future, I did admire how he had a go but I am not slitting my wrists that he has moved on.

Would have been cool to have another Sorensen playing for Cronulla but didn't really see anything that would make me think he is a big loss.
